The Journal of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences has completed one year of its publication. The four issues of this journal that emerged during this period had exemplary scientific content. I hope it makes further progress to be in line to achieve its indexed journal status soon.
The University has been making steady progress on the academic front. Five research projects have been sanctioned to the affiliated institutions with necessary financial assistance, and I am sure that fresh breakthroughs would be achieved in the coming years with emerging new concepts in disease management. Likewise, PhD program which has been streamlined is progressing on the expected lines that agrees well for the scholars to pursue their doctorate courses and throw more light on contemporary health issues.
I am thankful to all editorial staff and the advisory board for their constant pursuit to bring out a quality scientific journal and to ensure high standards of academic content in it. I complement the contributors for the zeal and enthusiasm with which they have been working to produce the scientific articles.
I wish success for all concerned in the coming year, 2013.
